In a society where everyone is constantly striving to do something bigger and better it seems that the art of humility has been forgotten.

I took the liberty of obtaining the definition of humility just as a little reminder.

Humility –noun

the quality or condition of being humble; modest opinion or estimate of one’s own importance, rank, etc.

Regardless of what your craft or gift is it is important to remember that you would not have this blessing had it not been for God. When’s the last time you humbled yourself and gave thanks to God or the to the people who paved the way for you to be able to live your dreams today?

While we all would like to think that we are the best singer, writer, lawyer or doctor its imperative to remain grounded about our accomplishments.

So for today’s slice of morning love, remember to humble yourself and remain grounded. While we are all entitled to be proud of our accomplishments, there is a fine line between being vain and being modest. Lets try to be a little more meek, after all scripture says the meek shall inherit the earth and that is something to boast about.
