So for day three I met and exceeded my daily quota and ended the day at just over six thousand words. As for day four it’s now 9:18 pm and I have yet to write two words. It seems like being congested has caused my brain to be so cloudy no words or ideas can get through. How annoying.

I was on the Toronto nano chat group where I found out that one of my fellow wrimo’s had met and exceeded fifty thousand words. Yes I said exceeded fifty thousand words in three days. While I am elated for her, this distressed me a whole lot. While I have been stressing about plot and perfecting the scenes she wrote her whole novel. Then the icing on the cake was not being able to write today because lets face it taking care of two young kids who are sick as well as myself really provided me with no time.

So now the race against time starts, I have just over two hours to complete sixteen hundred words. I’m going to buckle down and get this done. The last thing I want to do is fall behind now only four days in.
