Tips For Writers: A Page a Day
Deciding to become a writer is an easy decision, the hard part lies when you actually have to sit down and write in order to fulfill that vision that you have.
Many aspiring writers often don’t know where to start. There can be lots to think about and truthfully it can be very overwhelming. You sit down to write with your paper and pen or your laptop in front of you and suddenly you have a million thoughts running through your head. How many words? What genre? Who’s your audience? What’s your inner story or your outer story? Soon enough you realise that you’ve been sitting down for a few hours and your page is empty.
So the question remains where do you start? The answer is really quite simple -write a page a day. Finding the time to sit down and write is the number one problem that writers face. So give yourself half hour a day, whether it be on your lunch or on your break at work to write one page. Soon enough you’ll realise that the one page you write will turn into 30 by month end and before you know it your story will be complete!
Happy Writing!
