June’s Poet of the Month
I’ve been harbouring a secret for a while now. A few weeks back I received news that I would featured as the Poet of the month in an online magazine. Not just any magazine mind you, one that was voted magazine of the year by AAMBC Literary Awards. You can imagine my excitement!
From A Writer’s Point of View is a wonderful, educational, and professional magazine for writers, authors, business people and upcoming talent. Their print and online magazine posses a wealth of knowledge for those that are in the literary field. Whether it be publishers, authors or new talent there is something for everyone.
It’s an added bonus that the owner Dominique Watson and the administrator Darryl Mims are both writers. Dominique has six books under her belt, while Darryl has an outstanding grip of poetry. Having two knowledgeable and experienced people backing the magazine is one of the reasons that makes it so appealing. They have been there, done that and are passing on their experience to the rest of us.
I will be featured as the June Poet of the Month. My feature will run the full length of the month and will include my bio and one of my poems. I couldn’t be more excited about it.
