As I gazed upon my calendar today, it hit me. It’s almost November and for us writers you know what that means…NaNoWriMo is fast approaching!

I raced to log into my NaNoWriMo page and after several attempts finally logged in. I couldn’t believe that the site is up and functioning already! (click here to go to the site)

My fingers are itching to start typing, but I know that I have a couple more weeks to go until the race begins.

Last year I proudly finished with just over 52k words, this year I’m hoping to hit 75k. Maybe my sophomore experience and the fact that this time around I now have a one year old versus a 7 week old might help me reach that goal.

As I did last year, I will be blogging my experience- the good, the bad, and the writer’s block.

So the only question is…have you decided to sign up and try it?
