If hollywood has taught us anything it’s that your foundation upon which you build your life must be solid in order for you to tolerate success.

Too many times I have seen people attain some level of success and suddenly all thier morals and values have flown out the window.

It reminds me of the old bible story about the two men who built their houses on different foundations. One built his on the sand and the other on rocks. Suddenly when the storm hit, the one who had built his house on the sand found himself homeless.

While this was seen as a child’s tale it is so relevant in today’s society where its easy to get caught up in the popularity contest and the money. The minute a storm hits, suddenly you find yourself alone, the people who were there for the money, popularity and success are nowhere to be found.

So for today’s dose of morning love my prescription is to think about what the foundation of your life and your passion is. If you are building your life on positive thoughts and actions then you have a solid foundation. If by chance you may find yourself caught up in the negative lifestyle of fast cars and even faster money then maybe you should take the time to re-evaluate what your morals are.

After all the last thing you want is to be caught in the storm without an umbrella.
