The Almighty dollar. It’s not the first time I’ve spoken about it and as sure as the sun will set tonight, I’m sure I will speak about it again. You see I’ve noticed more and more lately that good old fashioned passion is being replaced by the ability to make a quick Buck.

What happened to that passion that sparked your imagination and gave you the drive to chase your dreams to the end of the earth? Now the minute people seem to get a minor dose of success their egos soar crushing any and everyone who manages to get in their way.

It’s almost as though the true meaning of passion has been forgotten.

Passion is doing what you love regardless of if you get paid. Passion is pursuing your dreams even if the odds are stacked against you. Passion is that nagging feeling in the pit of your belly that won’t go away.

Sure following your passion means taking some risks and sometimes those risks don’t pay off but you keep trying. Why? Because you know what you’re meant to do.

So for today’s dose of illumination I invite you to remember what you’re passionate about. Remember the road that took you to success and finally remember that those who have strong roots planted aren’t affected by success no matter how minor or major.
